  • Program Evaluation 101 introduces CBOs to the foundational concepts of evaluating programs to support learning, improvement, and accountability. This training demystifies evaluation by focusing on practical, right‑sized approaches that organizations can realistically implement. Participants will explore how to define program goals, identify meaningful outcomes, collect relevant data, and use information to strengthen CVI programming.

    The training emphasizes evaluation as a learning and improvement tool, not a punitive or compliance‑only exercise.

  • - Basics of program evaluation and common terminology

    - Defining program goals, outcomes, and success

    - Introduction to logic models or simple program frameworks

    - What data to collect and why

    - Using data for learning and program improvement

    - Connecting evaluation to funding and sustainability

  • - Executive Directors / CEOs

    - Finance Managers, Fiscal Officers, or Bookkeepers

    - Program Directors and Program Managers

    - Operations Managers

    - Grants or Contracts Managers

    - Board Members (Treasurers/Finance Committee members)

Note that attendance is limited to 1 staff member per CBO.
