Advocacy plays a critical role in advancing the mission and impact of Community Violence Intervention (CVI) organizations. This training will provide participants with a practical understanding of how to effectively advocate for policies, resources, and community-centered solutions that support violence prevention efforts. Attendees will explore strategies for engaging stakeholders, building relationships with decision-makers, leveraging data and lived experience to influence change, and mobilizing community voices in support of safer and healthier communities. Participants will leave with actionable tools to strengthen their organization's advocacy efforts while remaining aligned with applicable legal and organizational guidelines.
